The processing of wastewater requires a significant amount of mechanical power transmission equipment. Every city or municipality, and many industrial sites, performs this function, and selling opportunities abound. Having a clear understanding of the basic operations associated within this industry provides opportunity for enhanced sales success.

This webinar provided salespeople with insight on the processes, applications, and current trends of PT/MC products used within this industry. Presenters walked through a typical wastewater treatment plant and its applications (referenced from PTDA's Industry Sales Guide: Wastewater Treatment Process) with special focus on the cross selling of product category solutions including motors, gearboxes and bearings. Plant officials are burdened with keeping the plant up and running. The solutions provided in this webinar will improve reliability and efficiency. Insight also was given into how to identify the key decision-makers based on company size and common customer profile.

Todd Huston is currently the Global Segment Manager – Process Industries for ABB’s Baldor-Reliance Brand of NEMA motors. Todd has over 28 years of experience in the industrial electric motor industry comprising of roles in sales, product management, and engineering. The majority of his career Todd has focused of applications in harsh environments in the industries of Water and Wastewater, Chemical, Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Mining, Aggregate and Cement. Todd holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University

David Silverman

David Silverman is currently the Gearing Product Manager for Regal Rexnord. David has over 30 years of experience in the industry. In his current role, David is responsible for product assessment and management. He also develops and executes strategic objectives to achieve sales growth for Regal Rexnord Corporation. David holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University

Christopher DuComb is currently the COO for W.C. DuComb Company. Chris has fulfilled roles including warehouse, inside sales and most recently in strategic business development -where he aggressively grew sales with new and existing customers. He assumed the President's role in 2021.
