Shape the Industry's Future

As the foremost advocate of the industrial power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distribution industry, PTDA is dedicated to ensuring the future health of its members and the industry as a whole.

To help both distributors and manufacturers in the PT/MC industry, PTDA is dedicated to:

• Working with the PTDA Foundation’s PT WORK Force^®  initiative to provide industry employers with resources to recruit employees to the industry and retain and motivate the next generation workforce.
• Promoting standard formats for the transfer of data such as the Product & Price Information Format (PPIF) and the Cost of Goods Sold format (COGS) to increase the efficiency of the supply chain
• Helping employees understand how distribution works through the University of Innovative Distribution program, Elements of Industrial Distribution Online course and Distribution & the Power of Profit workbook
