• Distributors:  A firm, corporation or partnership whose business is involved in the stocking and distribution of power transmission and/or motion control products to original equipment manufacturers and/or end-user markets, and which provides value added services to its customers.

Distributor member criteria and application

 

• Manufacturers:  A firm, corporation or partnership which manufactures a power transmission/motion control product line, which operates through one or more facilities utilizing its business name located in North America, which has a policy in force of distribution through authorized distributors, and which sells through power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distributors.

Manufacturer member criteria and application

 

• Associate:  A firm, corporation or individual who provides services directly related to operating a business in the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry and does not meet the criteria of distributor or manufacturer membership.

• Educational Institution:  A two- or four-year, post-secondary degree granting educational institution offering courses related to career development in the power transmission/motion control and/or industrial distribution industry.
