October 23-26
JW Marriott Austin
Austin, Texas

Amplify at the PTDA 2019 Industry Summit

With Austin, Texas—The Live Music Capital of the World—as the location for the PTDA 2019 Industry Summit, there are unlimited opportunities to amplify your connections, your knowledge and the fun.

As we work on finalizing the program with details and registration in June, read on to discover why the power transmission/motion control industry meets at the PTDA Industry Summit.

Amplify Your Connections

With more than 550 of the industry’s top executives in attendance, the PTDA Industry Summit is where you’ll strengthen existing relationships and construct new ones. Of course, we’ll be holding our signature business-building event—the MD-IDEX (Manufacturer/Distributor Idea Exchange) with both pre-scheduled and unscheduled one-on-one meetings. But the networking doesn’t just happen at MD-IDEX. You never know who you’ll stand next to at a reception or who will sit at your table for lunch. This is your only chance in 2019 to be among so many potential business partners and colleagues who are all seeking the same goal—making connections for a fantastic 2020!

Amplify Your Knowledge

As hard as we all try, it’s impossible to keep up on all the trends and information for successfully managing your business. At the PTDA Industry Summit, based on your input, we’ve lined up four speakers who will hone in on hot issues:

  • Frank Abagnale (author of Catch Me If You Can and the inspiration for the film of the same name) will offer indispensable counsel and strategic insight on safeguarding information systems and combating cyber-fraud.
  • Dennis Snow takes you to the next level in building a customer-focused culture (one of the top needs of your customers according to the PTDA Voice of the End Customer Report).
  • Ron Karr will work with you on one of your toughest human resource challenges: coaching your team to transform them into superstars.
  • Alan Beaulieu will provide the latest economic update detailing year-end expectations, what 2020 will bring and what the forecast holds for many of the industries you serve.

Amplify the Fun

Austin’s well-known slogan is “Keep Austin Weird.” Capitalizing on its zany and eclectic reputation, Austin is just plain fun. In addition to live music, there’s also the food scene. You’ll get a chance to experience Austin at our block party to close out the 2019 Industry Summit, complete with food trucks and live music just off of Sixth Street.
