Women in the Industry Community

The Women in the Industry Community is for professional women who work for a PTDA member company and are interested in learning and sharing knowledge with other women in the industry.  

Benefits of this community include:

  • Development and growth opportunities

  • Resource for education on topics of interest

  • Increased visibility/impact of women in the PT/MC industry

  • Volunteer mentoring and leadership opportunities

  • Enhanced professional connections through networking events

If you work for a PTDA member company, you can take advantage of these benefits at no extra cost to your company. Create your own user name and password here. Once your account is created, you can edit your profile to select Female to benefit from the Women in the Industry Community.

Women in the Industry Conversations

Open to all, the Women in the Industry community holds quarterly calls for frank and open conversation about succeeding as a woman in the power transmission/motion control industry. Topics are selected by a task force of dedicated volunteers. Click on the links below to register for an upcoming call.

Topic: How to Hustle Without Burning Out
Working longer is not the same as working smarter. With so much to do, there's never enough time to find a more efficient or effective way of working so you just keep at it the way you've always done it. Share your tips for being more productive without putting in more time and discuss ways to recognize and prevent burn out.


Registration Details

About one week before the Community Conversation, you’ll receive an email with a link to Microsoft Teams for the event. You do NOT need a Teams subscription to participate.
