While the recession
may be over, we're still discovering the opportunities provided by the
upheaval that will make our companies stronger, profitable and
successful. Where is the potential? Our theme for the Industry Summit,
"A Summit of Possibilities," recognizes that opportunities do exist --
we need to be open to new ideas, new markets, new customers, new ways of
communicating to mine the gold that's out there. Envision the
possibilities for your company as you meet with peers, partners and
colleagues at PTDA's signature event -- the Industry Summit.
This year, 2010,
represents PTDA's 50th Anniversary as the leading association for the
industrial power transmission/motion control distribution channel. But,
before there was an association, there was a convention (now known as
the Industry Summit). The value of face-to-face conversations in
building and strengthening relationships is just as important in today's
world of instant communication as it was in 1960 when Warren Pike
founded PTDA.
Celebrate those who
saw the possibilities in bringing together power transmission/motion
control executives 50 years ago, and help achieve the promise of the
years to come!
Register today for the PTDA 50th Anniversary
Industry Summit!
When you add it all up, attending the Industry
Summit can save you thousands of dollars in expenses and days away from
the office. See for yourself with the distributor and manufacturer value calculators!
And, you’ll reap
dividends! A study by Oxford Economics showed that
executives identified the average return on conference and trade show
participation to be in range of $4-$5.99 per dollar invested and
for every dollar invested in business travel, businesses
experience an average $12.50 in increased revenue and $3.80 in new
profits. Curbing business travel has a negative impact on
corporate profits. The average U.S. business would forfeit 15
percent of its profits in the first year of eliminating business
travel. It would take over three years for profits to
recover.
Both executives and business travelers estimate
that 28 percent of current business would be lost without in-person
meetings and that roughly 40 percent of their prospective customers are
converted to new customers with an in-person meeting compared to 16
percent without a face-to-face meeting.
The PTDA Industry Summit is open to all employees of member companies
and qualified prospects. Download the list of Industry Summit attendees
