Registration Information

Industry Summit Delegate Registration: Industry Summit Delegate Registration Includes the Motion Control Showcase and Welcome Reception with open bar and plentiful buffet on 10/13; Welcome Breakfast, Keynotes, Concurrent Sessions, Annual Business Meeting, Distributor or Manufacturer Lunch and scheduled breaks on 10/14; boxed lunch, Distributor or Manufacturer Forums and a Monumental Affair on 10/15. Golf is an optional event with separate registration fees.

Industry Summit Spouse/Companion Registration: Spouses/companions may register a la carte for the Welcome Reception on 10/13, Welcome Breakfast & Keynote on 10/14 , Walk and Breakfast and A Monumental Affair on 10/15 or may select the all-inclusive registration option (all of the events mentioned earlier) and save 10%. Golf is an optional event with separate registration fees. For information on fees, please see the registration form. Spouses/Companions who plan to attend concurrent workshop sessions, the Motion Control Showcase and/or MD-IDEX must register as delegates.

Child Registration Fee: For children ages 7-20, includes A Monumental Affair.  There is no charge for children under 6 years old.

Golf Registration:The PTDA Foundation Golf Outing is an optional event with separate registration fees. Golfers have the opportunity to purchase a foursome for US $1,100. If you are interested in purchasing a foursome, please list the confirmed members of your foursome on your registration form. If you register as an individual, you will not have the opportunity to choose your foursome (excluding spouse/companion registrants). For golf foursome questions or sponsorship options, contact Brenda Holt at +1.312.516.2100 or bholt@ptda.org.

Tour Registration: Because many of the museums in Washington D.C. are free, tours have not been pre-arranged, but guests are encouraged to visit http:www.washington.org to explore all the region has to offer.

MD-IDEX or Motion Control Showcase Reservations: MD-IDEX booths and Motion Control Showcase tables must be reserved separately; to reserve a booth or table, contact Brenda Holt at +1.312.516.2100 or bholt@ptda.org. Only PTDA manufacturer and associate members who have reserved an MD-IDEX booth and all distributors will be allowed in the MD-IDEX session. Companies reserving booth or table space also must register each attending delegate for the Industry Summit.

Fax Registration

Please review the following instructions before registering:

  1. A separate registration form (2 pages total) must be received for each delegate.  To register additional individuals from your firm, please download additional copies of the registration form as necessary. Return both pages of the registration form with your payment to PTDA.
  2. Indicate participation in the optional PTDA Foundation Golf Outing by including the fees on the subtotal line.  If purchasing a foursome, include the names and company affiliations of those who have been confirmed for your foursome.
  3. Indicate spouse/companion participation in social events, if any, by selecting the all-inclusive spouse/companion registration fee (Option 1) or adding the fee for each event you wish to attend (Option 2).
  4. Indicate child registration if any for A Monumental Affair on Saturday evening..
  5. Issue one payment covering all fees payable to PTDA in U.S. funds.  Your payment must accompany both pages of the registration form.
  6. Return both pages of the registration form with your payment to PTDA via:

Advance Registration Deadline

To receive the early discounted registration fee, your registration form and payment must be received no later than August 15, 2011. To receive the regular registration fee and ensure inclusion in the advance PTDA registration list, both pages of registration form and payment must be received no later than September 12, 2011.

Refund Policies

Delegate and Spouse/Companion and Child Registration:  Written cancellations received prior to September 12, 2011 will be refunded in full minus a US$50 per person administrative fee.  Due to PTDA's contractual obligations with its vendors, no refunds can be issued for cancellations received on or after September 12, 2011.

Golf Outing:  Written cancellations received prior to September 12, 2011 will be refunded in full.  Cancellations received on or after September 12, including on-site cancellations, will be refunded only if a substitute is found by the registered guest to fill the space. 

Publicity Photo Acknowledgement

PTDA uses photographs of participants at the Industry Summit to promote the association and its programs, publications and services.  Please be aware that these photos are for PTDA use only and may be used in the association's publications and website. If you do not wish to have your picture taken, please inform our photographer.

Attire

Business casual attire is appropriate for all Industry Summit activities. Casual attire is recommended for A Walk in the Park.

Private Meetings and Entertainment Policies

Hosting organized group business meetings or luncheons, hospitality suites, private events or other social events (either on-site or off-site) are not permitted during officially-scheduled PTDA or PTDA Foundation functions.

No PTDA or PTDA Foundation functions have been scheduled during the evening of October 14th to allow for private events.   On October 14th, private on site events may be held after 5:00 p.m. Eastern; transportation to off-site events may begin after 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.  For information about available space at the Washington Hilton on Friday evening and for food and beverage options, please contact Michelle Evans, Event Sales Manager, Washington Hilton, +1.202.797.5815, michelle.evans@hilton.com
