registration fee will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the
Cure® San Diego Affiliate. We’ll provide
water and a visor to shade you from the California sun as you
stroll 5K (3.1 miles) along the San Diego Bay. Afterwards,
it’s a “come-as-you-are” breakfast where you’ll
learn how to reduce stress and create balance in a fun, interactive
workshop led by fitness and wellness expert Sara Holliday.
Participants are encouraged to solicit additional donations (payable to

San Diego Old & New City Tour
Thursday, October 22
10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
$69 per person |
A year-round
mild climate, 70 miles of beaches, a myriad of recreational
activities and world famous Zoo are just some of the reasons why San
Diego has been deemed, “City with Sol.”
The first stop
on this city tour is beautiful Balboa Park, one of America's
largest municipal parks housing museums from the 1915 Panama-Pacific
International Exposition and the 1935 California Pacific International
Exposition. It is the second
largest collection of museums outside of Washington,
D.C. Next, it’s off to Old
Town State Historic Park--where San Diego began--to experience the California
life of the Spanish and early American
periods. Its historic
buildings, shops and restaurants illustrate the vast changes that have
taken place in this city since it was first settled in 1769. Guests will
have free time to explore Old Town on their own where they will experience
early Americana with its
distinctive “West Coast Style” Spanish flavor.
Guests will also enjoy a deliciously
authentic luncheon at Casa Guadalajara, a true Mexican Fiesta. The
tour ends with a drive through the newly restored Historic Gaslamp District en route to the B-Street Pier where guests will
enjoy a one-hour harbor excursion along San Diego Bay.
