Your next move starts here!  The first official event of the Industry Summit, the Welcome Reception is the gathering place for everyone attending.  Catch up with old friends and business partners or introduce yourself to new contacts while enjoying the open bar and plentiful buffet.

Next Generation After-Party:  Post-Game Huddle Thursday, October 22 9:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

What happens after a great game?  You get together to re-live the excitement.  Keep the party going at the Next Gen After-Party!  If you’re 40 or younger, stop by to enjoy cocktails and network with Next Generation/Young Executive members from PTDA and FPDA. Be sure to identify yourself as Next Generation on the Industry Summit registration form.

Joint Manufacturer Reception:  Moving Together Friday, October 23 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Hosted by many of PTDA’s manufacturer members, the Joint Manufacturer Reception salutes the partnership between distributors and manufacturers that makes industrial distribution a successful business model.  All distributor delegates are invited to relax while enjoying cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and camaraderie.  Be sure to bring plenty of business cards as there will be several opportunities for you to be entered in a drawing for fabulous prizes provided by many of PTDA's manufacturer members.

Imagine experiencing life at sea aboard one of America’s longest-serving aircraft carriers. The USS Midway Museum is a floating city at sea where you’ll be able to walk in the footsteps of 225,000 Midway sailors who proudly served during the ship’s 47-year tour of duty. 

We’ve got the entire ship at our disposal!  The USS Midway Museum is an unforgettable adventure with more than 60 exhibits and a collection of 25 restored aircraft.  Docents will be available to provide historic information about the ship and life onboard and take you on a guided tour.  Those who dare can "take to the sky" aboard a flight simulator, a motion simulator or the Strike Fighter 360 simulator.

With cocktails on the four-acre flight deck and dinner on the hangar deck, you’ll get to explore the USS Midway and experience views of San Diego as very few can!  Flat-soled shoes and casual attire are recommended for this event due to the grated surfaces and the use of ladders to navigate different areas of the ship.  The USS Midway is ADA-accessible.
