else can you hold one-on-one meetings with 10 different
company executives in one location? The Manufacturer-Distributor
Idea Exchange (MD-IDEX) offers distributors and manufacturers a time-
and cost-effective opportunity to meet face-to-face with current and
potential business partners.
What exactly is MD-IDEX? MD-IDEX offers
PTDA manufacturer members the opportunity to reserve
“offices” during the Industry Summit to hold
one-on-one meetings with current and potential distributors.
MD-IDEX features two components to bring together
top-level industry executives:
- The first component is scheduled appointments.
There are 10 appointments of 20 minutes each. Appointment
scheduling is done online in advance of the Industry Summit.
Online scheduling for the 2009 Industry Summit is now closed.

schedule.
- The second component is open time. Distributors
walk the floor of the MD-IDEX, meeting with manufacturers in a free-flow
format. This is a unique chance to check out a new product line or
talk to a potential new distributor without the formality of a scheduled
meeting or the informality of a tradeshow.
