Here’s how to make the most of your MD-IDEX experience:
- Make the most of your MD-IDEX experience by scheduling meetings
with PTDA manufacturer member executives with national
decision-making authority who have reserved space in the
MD-IDEX. An exhibitor directory will be available in
early August. Download a demonstration of the online
scheduling process so you'll be ready to go once the scheduler is
live. Online scheduling for distributors will be live
from August 26 through September 16, 2010. Only
PTDA distributor members can schedule appointments.
- Check your appointment schedule online after manufacturer
scheduling concludes to find out if any manufacturers have
scheduled appointments with you, even if you have not scheduled any
appointments yourself.
- Prepare for your appointments and come to the meeting with an
agenda. Research the companies you’ve scheduled appointments
with and the companies that have scheduled appointments with you.
Arrive at the manufacturer’s booth at the appointment time
prepared for substantive discussions.
- Walk the floor of the MD-IDEX during open time. Take some time
to ask questions of a manufacturer whose product is new to you.
