Here’s how to make the most of your MD-IDEX experience:

Schedule meetings with PTDA manufacturer members who have reserved a booth in MD-IDEX. Download the directory of MD-IDEX exhibitors. Review the list and determine which manufacturers you want to meet. Online scheduling for distributors will begin at 10:00 a.m. Central on August 25, 2011 and will be open through September 12, 2011. Appointments are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, and many slots go within minutes of the opening of online scheduling.
An exhibitor directory will be available in early August. Coming soon: Download a demonstration of the online scheduling process so you'll be ready to go once the scheduler is live. The current demo is live, but subject to change, as some of the pictures will be updated.
Manufacturers are also given the opportunity to schedule appointments with you. Check your online appointment schedule after September 23rd to see if any exhibiting manufacturers scheduled an appointment with you.
Prepare, prepare, prepare! Just as you would for any business or sales meeting, research the companies you will be meeting with and develop an agenda. Arrive at the manufacturer’s booth at your appointment time prepared for substantial discussions as you’ll be meeting with executives who have national decision-making authority.
Walk the floor during open time slots. Visit a manufacturer whose product is new to you. You never know what might be your next big business opportunity!
