Gary Moore is a 37-year veteran of the distribution industry.
He began his career with the Allis Chalmers
Industrial Truck Division, a manufacturer selling through
distribution. In 1976, he joined
Materials Handling Equipment Company (MHECO) in Denver,
Colo. as sales manager. While there, Gary was
promoted to operations manager and general manager and was appointed
president in 1990. In 1997,
Gary purchased MHECO from its
founders. In 1997-98, Gary
served as president of the Material Handling
Equipment Distributors Association. In 2001, MHECO was
awarded the Value Added Award by Material Handling Management
Magazine. Gary sold MHECO to a
neighboring distributor in 2006.
