Session Summary: Ryan Garrah, Creating a Culture of Innovation
Corporate planner Ryan Garrah gave participants a framework for
creating innovation in their own companies. Innovation is defined
as the successful executive of creative ideas. It’s not
enough to ask for the ideas—innovation involves systematically
implementing the ideas to make a difference.
Recognizing that being innovative is not innate to many executives,
Garrah encouraged attendees to adopt a process to solicit ideas from
throughout their companies, nurture those ideas with possibilities for
growth and profitability and monitor the success of the ideas.
