PTDA has partnered with PRADCO, a well recognized consulting firm, to
offer members discounts on pre-employment assessments to help identify a
candidate's strengths and weaknesses.
PRADCO’s screening process helps members select candidates that
will be more productive, efficient and a better fit into their corporate
environment. PRADCO also provides tangible results that contribute
to a company’s bottom line including reduced turnover, improved
safety, increased production and improved quality.
PRADCO’s pre-employment evaluations include:
Sales Index: Evaluates sales candidates on nine dimensions key
to selling success.
Competency Index: Evaluates candidates for all job levels on 17
dimensions assessing how individuals respond to situations and
people.
Leadership Index: Evaluates management candidates on 17
dimensions of leadership, focusing on decision-making style,
interpersonal skills and management style.
Emotional Intelligence Index: Evaluates candidates on 16
dimensions assessing how they relate and adapt to different
people, problems and business situations.
Sales Skill Profile: Evaluates sales candidates on sales
skills, motivation, work approach, interpersonal style and
judgment.
Performance Profile: Evaluates managers of non-sales staff on
leadership, motivation, work approach, interpersonal style and
judgment.
The Sales Index, Competency Index, Leadership Index and
Emotional Intelligence Index are Internet-based, computer-scored
assessments. Each index takes approximately 20 minutes to
complete; the scores are e-mailed to the hiring manager upon completion
of the assessment. The cost of PRADCO’s pre-employment index
assessments range from $85-$125 per individual.
The Performance Profile and Sales Skill Profile offer more
comprehensive assessments evaluated by PRADCO’s staff of
management psychologists. Each profile includes an individualized
report that describes the candidate's fit for the position, as well as
an overall recommendation. Pricing for these profiles range from
$700-$1,000 per candidate.
PRADCO will waive the $250 pre-employment assessment set-up fee for
any PTDA member.
