Courses
Pre-Purchasing Courses
PT Interactive Online courses can be purchased days, weeks or months
before they are actually taken. Why pre-purchase?
- Pre-purchasing courses allows you to purchase multiple courses for
multiple users without having to identify the courses or the users in
advance.
- Because there is a 90-day timeframe in which a course must be
completed once purchased, pre-purchasing allows you to purchase courses
without starting the 90-day time limit.
- Discounts are offered when courses are purchased in quantity. This
discount pricing is only available with a pre-purchase.
With the pre-purchase option, you receive a code that indicates a
course has been purchased. When an employee is ready to take
a course, you provide them with the code you received when you
pre-purchased the course. The employee enters the code in the
Promotional Pricing field of the check out page to receive access to the
course at no charge.
Pre-purchases courses are good until they are used and may not be
refunded once purchased.
How to Pre-Purchase Courses
Click on the "Buy Now" link next to the "Pre-Purchase" item from
the PT Interactive Online product page. In the
Cart screen, update the Quantity box to reflect the number of courses
you'd like to pre-purchase. Click the "Update Quantity" box.
The Quantity box should be updated for the quantity you entered.
The total price will reflect the quantity times $125. Multi-course discounts are applied to purchases
of 10 or 15 courses and will be calculated during check out.
Click the "Check Out" box.

Complete the information on the Check Out page. Be sure to
include your PTDA Member Discount Code in the Promotional
Pricing field to receive additional discounts.

Click the "Preview Order" box to review your order. The total
should reflect all applicable discounts. If all is correct, click
the "Complete Order" box.

The next screen will be a confirmation of your order and will include
pre-purchase codes, one for each course you pre-purchased (e.g., if you
pre-purchased four courses, there will be four codes). You will
also receive the codes in an e-mail.
How to Use Pre-Purchased
Courses
Each code authorizes registration for one course and
can only be used once. You can provide an employee with one or
more codes to be used when ordering a course.
To order a course using a pre-purchase code, click on the "Buy Now"
link next to the course you'd like to take from the PT Interactive Online product page or by
clicking the "Register Now" link next to the course title from
the Course Descriptions and Registration page.
You may only use one pre-purchase code at a time so you may only have
one course in your cart. Click the Check Out button and complete
the information. Be sure to include the pre-purchase code in the
Promotional Pricing box and your Company ID in the Company ID box.
(Company ID is used to connect employees taking PT Interactive
Online courses to a company and allow for supervisor access.

Click the "Preview Order" button. The total should be "$0" to
reflect the use of the pre-purchase code. Click the "Complete
Order" button to complete the course registration. To login to the
course, visit www.ptda.org/PTOnlineLogin.
To register for additional courses using pre-purchase codes, return to
the PT Interactive Online product page or the Course Descriptions and
Registration page.
