PTDA Welcomes Six New Members

Chicago, Ill. – May 12, 2008 – The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) recently welcomed six new members.

Three companies joined the association as distributor members:

• Crimson Electric, Inc. (Greer, S.C.): a distributor of mechanical power transmission (PT) products, motors and electrical/electronic drives.
• Solutions Industrielles (Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada): a distributor of mechanical PT products, bearings and PT accessories.
• Van Meter Industrial (Cedar Rapids, Iowa): a distributor of mechanical PT products, motors and PT accessories.

The association welcomed two new manufacturer members:

• Drop Designs (Prince George, British Columbia, Canada): a manufacturer of bearings, belt and chain drives, conveyors and material handling components, shaft couplings and u-joints, and PT accessories.
• Leeson Canada (Mississauga, Ontario, Canada): a manufacturer of adjustable/variable speed drives, clutches and brakes, motor/motion control, conveyors and material handling components, shaft couplings and u-joints, gearing, motors, and PT accessories.

One company joined PTDA as an associate member:

• Billtrust (Jamesburg, N.J.): Ranked sixth in Inc. 5,000’s Top Companies in Business Services, Billtrust sends bills to customers, in paper and electronic form and collects electronic payments for its customers.
