PTDA Sponsors University of Industrial Distribution March 4 -
7
Chicago, Ill. -- January 26, 2007 -- The Power Transmission
Distributors Association (PTDA) is excited to be a sponsor of one of the
best educational opportunities available for distribution executives,
managers and professionals: The University of Industrial Distribution
(UID). This intense, four-day educational program runs from March
4-7, 2007, on the Indianapolis campus at the Indiana University, Purdue
University Conference Center. Focused on the unique needs of the
distribution industry, UID provides an integrated, valuable learning
experience for industrial distribution managers.
Recognizing that quality educational instruction with take home value
for the distribution channel is hard to come by, PTDA and 25 other
leading distribution professional associations sponsor UID with Purdue
University. Working together, these groups take great care to
ensure that the sessions focus on the distribution industry — its
people, problems and issues, opportunities and future.
Distribution professionals play a fundamental role in the design of the
coursework, offering a slant with practical, real-world experiences.
Highly recommended by 100 percent of past attendees, the UID program
is unique because it is specific for distributors and manufacturers who
sell through distribution. Attendees may tailor their learning to
their specific needs by choosing from more than 30 sessions covering
distribution.
More than 5,000 distribution and manufacturing executives, managers
and professionals have attended previous programs; many have raved about
the quality of the courses and the high-value return on their
investment. A past UID participant said, “I was so impressed
with the quality and the number of courses I attended that I have
returned for the third time.”
Participants pay one fee for four days packed with a wealth of vital
distribution information and insights, and practical training and
education guaranteed to dramatically improve performance. In every
course, participants will take home valuable materials, which can be
used immediately in business to improve profits, enhance customer
service, stimulate employee productivity and add value.
Due to UID’s popularity and limited space, it is important that
prospective attendees register immediately as many have been turned away
the past three years. To register, complete the registration form
at http://www.univid.org.
Registration for PTDA members is only $995 if registered before Feb. 2,
2007 ($1,095 after the early registration date). For more details,
