An exclusive member-only benefit.  LinkedIn is an online network of more than 30 million experienced professionals from around the world, representing 150 industries.  Your network consists of your connections, your connections' connections and the people they know, linking you to thousands of qualified professionals.  The PTDA LinkedIn group's membership is growing steadily and allows you to connect with other PT/MC distribution professionals as part of group's benefit.

PTDA's Next Gen members also have access to the Next Gen LinkedIn sub-group.  The sub-group allows you to connect with other industry Next Gen professionals to network and discuss common issues faced by the next generation in the workforce and PT/MC industry.

Events

PTDA is dedicated to helping Next Gen members meet marketplace demands competitively and profitably by providing targeted education and networking opportunities to get the knowledge, tools and information needed to succeed in the PT/MC industry.

Executive Development Conference
While some may be born leaders, many of us need guidance to lead our companies forward.  Give your company a competitive advantage in today's changing marketplace by transitioning key employees from tactical managers to strategic leaders. The PTDA Executive Development Conference assists future leaders in developing the relationship-building skills they'll need to forge business partnerships based on trust and communication.

Industry Summit Events for Next Gen Members
The PTDA's Industry Summit is about improving your business, maintaining and creating partnerships and adding to the bottom line.  As a Next Gen, you face unique business challenges and require advice and input from your peers.  PTDA gives Next Gen members an opportunity to build professional relationships with other Next Gen members and to find out what other Next Gen leaders are doing to tackle business issues, as well as having a little fun at the Industry Summit.

At the 2009 Industry Summit, the Next Gen Roundtable was created to give Next Gen leaders a venue to discuss hot topics and business challenges in the industry.  For discussion notes, click here.

Getting Involved In PTDA

Volunteering is a perfect way for Next Gen members to network and develop leadership skills while working with other PT/MC leaders to advance this distribution channel.  PTDA volunteers are critical to PTDA’s success, donating time and expertise to develop programs that benefit distributor and manufacturer members as a whole.  PTDA has opportunities for you to get involved on a task force and committee level.  Committees and task forces are charged with implementing the association’s strategic objectives.  More than 125 individuals volunteer in some capacity each year.

Interested in getting involved in a PTDA committee or task force? Learn more by clicking here or contact PTDA at ptda@ptda.org or +1.312.516.2100.
