There was something for
everyone at the 2011 Industry Summit, where over 700 people
convened in Washington, D.C. for the power transmission/motion control
industry’s premier networking and educational event. The three-day
summit featured a combination of sessions and workshops showcasing the
industry’s most relevant information and cutting-edge
perspectives.
Sessions and workshops covered
an array of timely topics, from ruling your inbox and building winning
websites to navigating the challenging world of mergers &
acquisitions. Plus, economist Alan Beaulieu of the Institute for Trend
Research wowed with his economic forecast designed to help attendees
make sound business decisions based on real market data.
In the spirit of relationship
building, the Industry Summit also provided ample opportunities for
relaxed idea exchange among supply chain partners. Attendees shared
perspectives at receptions, networking lunches, golf, MD-IDEX, the
Motion Control Showcase, and a closing event providing exclusive access
to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American
History.
