New PTDA Foundation Vanguard Campaign Hits Targets
As 2009 drew to a close, the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) Foundation challenged the association's members to lead the charge in linking young adults to career paths in industrial distribution by "being in the Vanguard." Eighteen employers rose to the occasion by making their 2010 PTDA Foundation contribution before the year ended, helping the PTDA Foundation to surpass its Vanguard goal and raise $51,350. U.S. PT/MC Manufacturers Month-to-Month Sales Decrease while Canadian Sales Remain Flat According to PTDA's November 2009 Market Outlook Report
Following gains in October 2009, U.S. manufacturers sales decreased while Canadian manufacturers posted no change in November 2009 according to sales data released by the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) in its Market Outlook Report. U.S. manufacturers sales dropped 6.1 percent from October 2009 sales, following three months of increasing sales.

PTDA welcomes new manufacturers: Cone Mounter Company (Englewood, Colo.), System Components, Inc. (South Haven, Mich.) and Techtop Industries, Incorporated (Atlanta, Ga.) and new educational institutions: Central Alabama Community College (Alexander City, Ala.), Minnesota State Community & Technical College (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) and Paris Junior College (Paris, Texas).
